Ayyappan Temple

Sunday we walked along the road to town. We asked at a resort where the temple was and were told it was down the road near the banyan tree.

The tank is below where the holy water is and people bathe. 

We had some masala chai at the hut above overlooking the tank. 

This is where I took this next picture from. 

The temple was closed but we saw some of the village oas we walked up the side street.

We found this side entrance and just walked in.
